Check out my new Cinema (literally) Display™!!!
I got bored the other night, and decided to make a roll down screen and hook my MBP to a projector. All I can say is Call of Duty 2 heaven.

Macrumors is pretty exciting though... very easy to read at those resolutions.

An Infocus LitePro 570 projector. Max res of 640x480. Circa 1995. Works great when playing Laser Disks.

Gah! Laserdiscs look awful on my 800x600 InFocus X1. Im kinda disappointed that I didn't get something with at least XGA res, but this one was school surplus and only $250 new in box.

Speaking of porn and projecters, the most fun I think my roommates and I had in college was projecting porn onto the sidewalk/parking lot outside our dorms one night. And we were on the 6th floor so it was huge

All I can say is Call of Duty 2 heaven.

That's how my friends and I spent winter afternoons (when it got dark at 3...) after getting in to college senior year...we'd run over to my friends dorm room, hook up the 'jector and XBox, and run Halo 2 on Xbox Live until late at night.

We had about a 15 foot widescreen.
