Check this Finder weirdness out!

I launched from a FireWire hard drive to do an image restore, and after loggin in (a setting that I had not checked, and had not previously done), was greeted with the attached screenshot. Funky. Can't get it to do it again, and the progress never finished, and the screen never went away. Anyone ever experience this?

Yes, this happened to me once. Everything seemed to be working in the background, but the startup window wouldn't go away. It's been a while, but I think I did a hard reset and when it came up it didn't happen again (or ever since). Did kind of freak me out at the time.
