Keyboards are in stock in Austin tx. When I ordered mine for in store pickup only one store had them. After picking up now both stores have them. Double check them this afternoon if you're still waiting!

Indeed. I reported in another thread that retail stores in southern lower Michigan all appear to have the Smart Keyboard in stock. I was able to pick mine up today.
I have been checking Best Buy's site for what seems like weeks and they finally listed the pencil as in stock today. Bought it and paid the extra 6 bucks to get in my hands by tomorrow. Canceled my 5 week delayed Apple.com order instantly. When I was in the store today getting the keyboard I talked to an old friend who said she has seen very few pencils come through the doors and had never actually sold one. The keyboard shipment today made me her first smart keyboard transaction. Perhaps this is a good sign.
