Just checking an assumption I just realised I made yesterday when ordering Final Cut Express and a Samsung FI 1Tb drive - the standard el chepo display board that came witht the Mac Pro (08) which currently drives two displays will be man enough to handle what ever FCE throws at it. I really can't think that it will not however...

Any re-assurance / buy this advice gratefully received!

FCE/FCP is mostly CPU intensive, so on that count you're fine. The stock Radeon card has better Core Image (an API used by virtually every Apple Pro app) performance than any of the NVIDIA cards anyway.

Cool, thanks for that. I figured I was safe but with my ability to mess tech up I just wanted to be sure :)
