Checking corporate emails and stuff?

I want to know if I can access my work email on the ipad. I now have a pc where I usually login to access my work emails etc through vpn i guess. I am not so technically versed so I just open my pc and follow the guide IT dept game me.

But I was wondering if the ipad could be used to check my work email that would be so much better.

You can probably get your corporate e-mail set up on your iPad. Without any details, it's just a guess, however.

Does your IT department allow you to check your e-mail on mobile devices?

You might want to check on that first.

If your IT department lets you do exchange, you can get it. But many businesses do not let you do this -- and require third party software which they have more control and security over. If you can VPN in, you can possibly do that on your iPad with an app, or if you citrix in, you may be able to do that with receiver.
