I get this message about 90% of the time upon opening iTunes or plugging in my iPhone when iTunes is not open. I have searched Google and MR and haven't found anything useful except that it means "something very bad" happened to my iTunes library. But I've been getting it forever (only now am I asking for help) and have never noticed anything wrong. It's just annoying because it takes 3-5 minutes for iTunes to open when this happens. Solutions?

If iTunes, crashes, is killed with force quit or your Mac is uncleanly rebooted (kernel panic, power failure) when iTunes is running you will see this.

Thank you. That answers that. My MacBook has no battery anymore due to water damage (that's a whole other issue I need to deal with). I frequently unplug the power on accident and needless to say, it shuts of immediately.
