Checking my '@me.com' mail on my desktop

I'm assuming there is a way to check my '@me.com' email from my desktop (a windows computer if it makes a difference), but could someone please tell me how to do it?

Or if there's no way at all, direct me to the nearest wall so i can hit my head on it.

You can use icloud.com like Spyder said, or enter these email client settings in your favorite Windows mail application. The free Thunderbird would work for this.
