Ok......I'm an idiot......I forgot my iPhone today.....And I feel naked. And on the worst possible day, when I'm expecting an important phone call. Is there a way to check my iPhones voicemail from a land line phone??

I know with my cell phone up in canada, if you phone your iPhone wait until it starts the message then press pound it will ask for your password and everything. I don't know if that works with your carrier though. Give it a shot.

Pretty much all cell phone carriers have something similar to that. Usually # key, sometimes might be the * key to get into password prompt.

With AT&T call your number, when VM picks up hit the '*' key, then enter your password. Your "new" messages will actually be "skipped" messages since the iPhone downloads the messages so they're no longer marked as "new."

In other words, he's screwed. Or does that mean he can still listen to them?

There is a problem if you haven't set up a voice mail password though.

In the UK - o2 users have to set up a password, not sure if this is the case over where you are though.

If anyone is wondering how to setup/change a password on O2-UK dial 901 to call your voicemail and choose the option to change mailbox settings.

There isn't an option to do it in the actual iPhone voicemail screen, just the greeting.
