Just posting for info. purposes.
I am a k-12 educator and just bought a macbbok and got a printer and 16gb touch yesterday at an Apple Store in New Hampshire, USA. No tax in NH is great.
I just bought an imac in Feb. and the selling procedure was a bit different this time around. Instead of just showing my pay stub, I had to type in my information in an Apple widget on a mac pro in the store. In addition, AppleCare, when purchased on same day as ones mac is now automatically activated at the time of purchase.
Also, there is no more cutting out the UPC and mailing it in. It can now be done via email.
