Checkpoint VPN and Entrust support.

Hi,

I want to use my Macbook to connect to my work from home. My work uses Checkpoint SecureRemote Client and Entrust support. On a windows machine there's a file that you download from Checkpoint that is called Enterr.dll that enables Entrust certificate (*.epf file format) to be used by SecureRemote.

I downloaded SecureRemote for OS X that is on there website, but i can't seem to use my *.epf certificate. I checked for other VPN Client software, but none seems to work.

Anyone here uses *.epf files has certificate and VPN to connect to a VPN network?
Anyone knows of a software that could connect via VPN and use Entrust certificate?

Afraid not, EPF support is lacking in the OS X version of secureclient and documented as such by Checkpoint. Your only hope is that your PKI administrator will let you export your private key to PKCS#12 format using Entrust Entelligence (or whatever desktop Entrust client you have), and pointing Secureclient at that.

There's no other tool to convert epf files to pkcs#12 ?

I will check if i can convert my epf to pkcs at work.

EPF is a propriety Entrust format. Only the Entrust desktop tools can do the conversion. If you can do the conversion (which is in effect an export), then this is because your certificate policy explicitly permits it. Note that it's not good enough to export your public keys (which in general will be perimitted), but you also need to export your private key(s) as well.
