Checkup App Prevents HD From Autosleeping!

I have downloaded this app for the second time in six months and each time this app has prevented my hd from autosleeping. Does anyone know if this is a common issue with this app? I did see one complaint about this on macupdate. If it can't be stopped I will have to delete it.
