Saw this headline and of course I had to read more

Everybody, quick to Sacramento, bring bread and really long skewers. Fondue Party! :D

Oh man...how is this going to affect the cost of cheese here in the Bay Area? The ripple effects from this could be awful. :( ;)

i'd say you love cheese in general, cheese. :D

man...could you imagine how terrible the cleanup would be?

:D I am getting hungry just thinking about this.

For clean-up, they just need to bring in a bunch of dogs (once the cheese has cooled down) and let them lick the pavement clean.

Actually now that I think of it, that probably wouldn't be a good idea with all the other burnt truck parts mixed in. the dogs might get sick.

heh... been resisting the urge to delve into countless bad cheese jokes...

yeah... now all I want is some hot gooey cheesey foodstuff.

All joking aside, are any pedestrians going to be affected by this? I can imagine you're not going to be able to wade through a street of melted cheese without wearing a stilton your foot...
I cantal for sure, but I don't believe so.

Seriously though, it's on a freeway, so there aren't any pedestrians.

Are you saying our jokes are no gouda?
Blue... no whey. But since no one seems to give edam....

You can read another version of the story here, along with a video here.

friggin sweet video... love the shooting flames. I grew up here and know this intersection well. It sucks on any normal day, now the commute is going to turn into a muenster for some....

They better get that off the road before it curds. Where is Little Miss Muffet.:p
