I am an indie developer for iOS and OS X devices. I am looking for an inexpensive 3D Modeling Application (comparing to AutoDesk solutions). I already know I don't like Blender. As of right now I know of Cheetah3D and Silo. Which would you recommend? Or would you recommend another app?

Thanks :)

Actually have you seen the newest release of Blender? It actually looks like a real app now and is quite capable.

I've never used Silo but Cheetah has a trial on their website.

3D applications seem to follow their own rules in design - consequently, finding one that fits the way you work can be much harder than picking a word processor.

Have you tried Shade 3D? There is a version available on the Mac App Store. Entry level 3D applications seem to run the gamut of prices between $50-$150, and its right in the middle.
