Just saw this on the BBC site.

I think its a little harsh he wasn't a bad manager. So is it safe to say the only managers with Job security in England now are Arsene Wenger & Sir Alex Ferguson?

Mourinho won two titles (the first in 50-odd years), two League Cups and the FA Cup, making him the most successful manager in Chelsea's history – and that still didn't make him immune from 'leaving by mutual consent'. Grant's chances of keeping hold of his job were therefore slim at best.

'Football managers' and 'job security' aren't two terms that sit especially well with one another. ;)

We can thank ruthless billionaires. I cant wait to see who they bring in next that'll 'make things better'

Just part of Chelski's inevitable decline now that QPR are the the richest club in West London and indeed the world. I look forward to the day soon when Chelsea are just our feeder club!:D

Feel sorry for Avram Grant though, he did well and deserved better
