What ever happened to CherryOS?? There was a lot of hype around it back in the fall and now I haven't heard anything. I just went to the site (CherryOS.com) that I had bookmarked for it and it now has a page that looks like you will be able to order it soon. Says $49.95. Anyone heard anything else?? The FAQ isn't very helpful either.

It was a scam. People found that it was just a repackaged version of pearpc

Sometimes it hard to tell. But they have been accused of repackaging PearPC, but I don't see anything on google that says for sure if they are, only people saying it has to be.

I have no clue if its dead, or they are still in production of it.

If you had bothered to take the extra step of clicking the Purchase button on the webpage, you would have seen that CherryOS is not for sell.
