Hi, The Ringtone Chimes has been removed with the latest IOS update on the my two iPhone, 11Pro Max and 16pro max. The ringtone chime has replaced It. It is still on my iPad which is fully updated.

Just wondering if there is a way to get that ringtone back. My wife and I use it for Text alerts.

Is there a way to move it from my iPad to our iPhones.

Thanks, open to any and all suggestions.

I have "Chimes". This is on a 14 Pro running iOS 18.5.

There is a Ringtone "Chimes" and is still there but only selectable for Ringtones. It's not there for other alerts like text tones. For text tones, there is only "Chime" and yes, it's completely different from "Chimes".

I have the exact same thing as this on a 16PM running 18.5. Furthermore, there is no ringtone called only “chime”.
thanks you so much it helped me to find the problem. It is there for ringtone but not for texts.

Thanks you I looked up after your reply; and discovered what you were correct.
