Hello

I am using Safari 5.1.7 on Windows 7 and notice that when I browse to a Web page that I have done myself, the browser cannot see four Chinese (non-image) symbols. Internet Explorer 10 cannot see them, either. Nor Firefox.

I am guessing that the Chinese font I am using must be irregular and therefore not recognised but it is only a guess, unless I need to configure these browsers to see foreign language fonts.

Just for the record, in Safari, under Text Encoding (please see screenshot), I can see various fonts or symbols in Chinese. What does that mean?

Does Safari recognise only certain fonts in Chinese? That's fine as long as I can identify them with a view to being able to use them on my site - and no other.

Thank you.

Steve
