Hi all, I'm the developer of the tiny graphical app: Chirpy Time - timer & alarm clock. It's now in App Store for iPhones / iPods with iOS 4.0+ (for local notification). 
It's also tested okay on iPads if you don't mind seeing the x2 buttons.

We also have a web version for demo (plugin installation will be needed) purpose. On device you'll receive musical local notifications (works even when device's locked) when you turn on the alarm or timer.
We're new in app business, and will be developing 2D games using similar technologies so this one probably wouldn't be updated constantly except for some little things we still wanted to add in.
