Choice of bands limited to original purchase

Some of the stock combinations do look really nice. I tried on the gold 38mm with the concrete band which looked nice. (thoughts on this for a male please) I never thought id like the gold, im really not a gold person, but somthing about this looked really good.

The band that comes with this has the gold pin etc with it to match the watch, but I cant see this option when buying the band on its own. The Cocoa band is really nice too, but if I wanted to get this as an extra again, no gold option. Each only comes with the watch and in one size too. 38mm for the concrete and 42mm for the Cocoa.

Any reason for this?

Agree. I have the rose gold watch with pink sand sport band which has a rose gold pin closure. The replacement band only comes with a silver pin. I won't be happy if I have to replace it.
