hey guys!!

whats the difference between the

ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB of GDDR3 memory

and the

NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 memory

and how much slower would the 2.33 ghz processors be than the 2.4?

im thinking about getting a refurbished MBP and im fighting between the 2.33 mbp for 1900 and the 2.4 for 2100 both of the original prices are 2499...

i was thinking that the 2.33 is the older modle than the 2.4 but since they were released so close what would be the difference?? please and thanks!

The nvidia 8600 blows the ATI x1600 out of the water. Completely. Seriously, the 8600 is quite a bit better. It's not exactly a screaming fast gaming card, but it's enough to play any game you throw at it at at least medium visual settings.
