two different types of cholesterol

Hi everybody, I know that there are two different types of cholesterol in your body; LDL (Bad) and HDL (Good). HDL reduces LDL. When we eat, Saturated and Trans Fats reduce HDL and increase LDL. Meanwhile, Unsaturated Fats; Poly and Mono increase HDL. Am I correct? What foods have good cholesterol and what is bad? What is your opinion?

My opinion is that this thread is 4 years old and should've been left in the graveyard it's been in for said 4 years, and a forum about computers is a terrible place to be asking for medical advice anyways.
