Choosing a secondary vertical monitor for productivity

I need some advice. I’m setting up a productivity-focused dual monitor layout and want a secondary vertical monitor to place next to my Samsung ViewFinity S9 27” 5K (5120x2880, 600 nits) to use with my Mac mini M4. It’ll mostly be used for text, documents, PDF reading, and web browsing.

I’m between these three portable options:

1. UPERFECT 16” OLED – 2880x1800, 500 nits, 120Hz, glossy, ~226 PPI
Amazing image quality, but it’s smaller and has a glossy finish (could reflect light).

2. UPERFECT 18” IPS – 2560x1600, 300-400 nits, 144Hz, matte, ~177 PPI
Larger vertical height, matte screen, great for reading, but lower brightness and pixel density. Too large vertical size to use alongside the 27"?

3. UPERFECT 16” IPS – 2560x1600, 300-400 nits, matte, ~200 PPI
Similar to the 18” but more compact and cheaper. Might balance quality and size better?

I plan to mount it (VESA) and keep it vertical full-time. Brightness, sharpness, and alignment with my main monitor matter, but so does eye comfort.

I’m aware of the issues some users have reported with UPERFECT monitors, but unfortunately, it’s one of the only options available here in Brazil. The alternatives are even less-known Chinese brands with fewer reviews and little to no support, so I’m going with one of these anyway.

Which would you go for?

I don’t know anything about those, so probably my post won’t be too helpful, but I do have a VESA mount Apple Studio Display in portrait and it’s of course really nice. The display supports auto-rotate on macOS. Not only does it re-orient the display 90º, but it also rotates the camera image to match.

But what about the screen size? Would a 16 or an 18 inch be more adequate to use vertically alongside a 27-inch?
