Things to look when buying a new monitor:

- panel: make sure it's not TN. Look for IPS, MVA, PVA.
- aspect ratio. 16:10 it's so much better than 16:9. Trust me on this one.
- don't ever buy a glossy screen if you'll use it in a room with windows/light in front of it.
- backlit: CCFL is better then LED. Yeah, you've heard me right. Sadly, everydoby uses LEDs nowadays.

Go buy yourself a Dell U2412M (24,16:10, IPS LED).

Or, if you can find a U2410, i'd go for it. Have both and U2410 is better.

And don't forget to calibrate it. ;)
