Choosing between two systems on the same partition

Hi all,

On my iBook Clamshell I have the OS 9 and OS X (Tiger) on the same partition.

When I press option during the startup, there's an option to choosing what system to boot. It should to show both, the 9 and X, but just the OS X is showed. How can I see the OS 9 appear on the screen?
