Choosing the right macbook air (or other) to use as a jukebox

Hi guys

I need to buy a macbook (or other model) to use as a music player which will connect to a DAC and the latter in turn to my amplifier. It must have two separate inputs/busses one for the DAC and the other for the HD where all my music files are (the dac and the disk are not supposed to be on the same bus). The only app that will be used on it will be apple music it will be plugged into the mains for extended periods of time. Would you have any suggestions that will not break the bank?
