This makes me want to ride again... I got in a pretty bad accident Summer of 2018 riding my bike trying to avoid a deer, and I haven't really done anything with it since then. The bike survived but couple spots look rough, just cosmetic.

I don't carry passengers, wife only rode with me a few times and it was not for her so I decided to make the ride my own .
rarely rains in kommiefornia, at least where I am at.

First he needs to trim the fat (off both hime and the bike )

Since I'm spending @jkcerda money the tank needs to go for something smaller, the rear tire is entirely to small, after that he can work on the bars. He built a bobber without making everything else bobber small I assume 'cause money that schit is expensive I mean can you imagine going to your wife and saying "you know honey I'm about to spend 10k on the bike" that's some lead balloon commentary.

changing rear tire requires a new swing arm and rim, so I am looking at at least 1k there, if I want the front rim to match that's another 600 and as you pointed out, it's just starting out, next is paint etc....
my bike happens to have a salvage title so a heavy investment is simply not going to add anything value wise to the bike.

new drag bars are coming in, I have a Z shaped and T bars that I am going to mock up and pick the set I like the most this week.
