Is the overall choppiness only occurring on mine or is it a widespread issue?

8.0.2 is the version. And I'm talking overall feel, such as safari. Safaris tab view lags terribly.

Yup, and lag when the keyboard pops up.
iOS 8 in general is pretty fluid for me, similar to ios 7.1.2, especially while navigating arround, opening/closing apps, multitasking etc.
However there is definatly some choppiness I noticed.
1) Safari on iPad
2) weather app on iphone
3) music app on both
4) other random spots

I had no system crashes or freezes at all since updating and its far from the mess 7.0 was or people claiming 8 is.

I think it's just general iOS 8 bugginess as my iPhone 6 Plus sometimes does this.

i had this issue as well, I downloaded the IPSW and restored the iPad, then restored from backup and the choppiness went away for me

Thanks for the suggestions, but it seems like a hard reset somewhat fixed the issue too.
