Choppy scrolling artists in Music app

It's super laggy on my iPhone 5.

The performace of iOS 8 on the iPhone 5 is really bad. Starting to think planned obsolence itsn't a myth after all.

I just put iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 this evening and noticed when scrolling through settings it was a bit choppy. If i remember though the iPhone 4 was originally awful with iOS 7 and they did some performance tweaks in a later release and the iPad 2 got much smoother on iOS 7.1 so guessing they will smooth this out at some point.
