I have a bluetooth kit in my car from hands free calling. It sounds great as long as only one of the parties on the call is on hands free. However, when speaking with other people who are also using a handsfree the sound on my end is getting chopped off. They can hear me fine but I can't hear them.
It sounds like there is some noise management somewhere which detects static or distortion in the call and instead of just playing it through the speakers the distortion is being chopped off.
If I use the actual phone I can hear without anything being chopped off. But I also hear that the call has a lot of background static.
I don't know what is causing this, it if is the iPhone or my car stereo. Neither one of them seem to have any setting to turn off this feature. It is an older Sony headunit.
