My 5k iMac 2014 with Radeon 295X has a constant issue with UI being very choppy after wake up - after the upgrade to High Sierra.
Anybody can confirm the issue is gone in Mojave? Don't want to waste 2 days installing and restoring whole computer especially when the installation converts the Fusion Drive to AFS

Cheers, R.

Example in Safari when clearing the download list is smooth, but i feel in some areas it's more choppy and in others is less

My issue is the whole UI. Scrolling jumps instead of smooth movement. Dragging windows on a desktop is the worst. I have to log out and back in so the window server process is restarted. After that buttery smooth. Drives me mad!

It seems improved for me but it still has some juddering, especially with minimizing windows with a full dock. The UI seems to be smoother in some situations but I wouldn't call it gone, maybe 15-20 percent better in my (very) limited experiences so far, but I've been running some strenuous testing on it in an optimal load.

Does it do this on a fresh install of El Capitan?

It started when going from Sierra to HS. Didn't have the issue whatsover before HS.
