Hi guys, got my Max today and it’s sometimes choppy scrolling and frequent choppy on Netflix.

I’ve tried a “set up as new iPhone” and it’s still doing it......is it a dodgy GPU?

It’s a bit disappointing as this is a super powerful phone etc.

Anyone else have this or any suggestions?

Cheers.

The day I got my phone many things were slightly laggy as the phone is downloading/syncing from ICloud and indexing files behind the scenes. This is normal for all the new idevices I had. Give it a day for it to stabilize :)

No this is nothing to do with new-phone setup. There’s something fishy with the Netflix app and the new iPhones. Needs an update of some sort. There was another thread on this somewhere here. E.g. Lost in Space episode 1, around 38-40 mins there’s a snowy scene and the frame rate is terrible.

I doubt it’s a hardware issue. Just needs updated apps.
