Is anyone else out there getting the "Your activation requires additional time to complete." message?

My bother was all excited about his phone tonight, and now he cant use it till the 26th. What the hell? Anyone? Ideas?
 
Same problem here. AT&T is closed today, and anybody that runs into problems with iPhone activation is going to have to wait until tomorrow. :(
 
got mine activated and running in 5 minutes, but i already had an existing ATT line.. That sucks for you guys..
 
Well, I actually came back a few hours later and I restarted the iPhone and iTunes, and the phone activated.
 
Existing AT&T customer going on 9 hours here and the iPhone is still not activated yet.

at&t customer service stated 24 hours which sucks because they completely deactivated my other phone :(
 
Yikes, doesn't sound like something Apple / ATT is happy about...

I'm sure they're working frantically behind the scenes getting this resolved, or someone's getting fired.
