Chrome 4.0.249.49 (35163) beta / Safari 4 versus Firefox 3.6 for Java?

Firefox 3.6 uses TraceMonkey in which Mozilla says that 3.6 is 20% faster then Firefox 3.5 in Java.

Chrome and Safari use V8, so which one is faster for heavy flash websites?

You are confusing java with javascript, and flash has nothing to do with java or javascript.

Chrome and Safari are still faster than Firefox in javascript heavy sites.

Firefox +NoScripts is my preference, I see no speed issues(Feels faster than Safari). But I have all scripting off until I need it, I also like choosing what is running. Use it on my Mac and work PC, and it also kills flash, and flash is the only thing that crashes my PC.

What ever is the matter with safari? I have a had no problems. Why use another browser?

i have all my bookmarks in different folders depending on what they're roughly about which looked great in safari with just the name of the folder and a little arrow to show it was a folder, but in Chrome i'm left with horrible looking folder icons. is there anyway change this? i know it's pretty mundane but i like my browsers to look nice :D
