Looks like Google Chrome are doing all they can to get the browser Retina ready, they posted on their blog today a screenshot of the difference between the current and the upcoming setup...looks like a pretty significant change:

Personally I quite like chrome since, on my 2007 Macbook and with my out-in-the-country 2mbps internet, it works quicker than Safari. I also wonder if they'll be able to avoid the scroll lag a lot of people have been mentioning. Any other Chrome fans out there?

That didn't take long! Honestly, I lost interest in Chrome and switched to Safari once Apple introduced the interactive double tap zoom in Safari. That is really slick - I wish Chrome would incorporate something similar.

Canary Build

I'm running the canary build of chrome and it works great. It has retina support.
