Chrome not remembering file open dialog box size settings help!

So I have the latest Chrome for Mac (version 57) and Sierra MacOS.

I noticed, when I open the File Open dialog box, and try to resize it, next time the settings don't save! I have to resize this box again and again.

Is this a bug? I searched Google but no solution worked. Any suggestions? Thanks!
