Hello,

I want to install Chrome OS on my Macbook. I don't care to argue why I would want to do that. If anything, it's a great idea.

I am aware of Hexxeh's work, but his utility to quickly and easily install Chrome does not work for me. To clarify, I'm running Yosemite on my 2014 Macbook Air. The utility did not list any possible images to use, and trying to use my own image failed.

I also tried to directly write the chrome image to my USB using dd, but that failed. It would boot and then give me a 'out of memory' error.

What should I do? It's been done before, so I want to know how. Also, I'm not interested in running Chrome in a VM.

You might want to try something like rEFInd to make it work.

Thanks! I'll check it out. Any tutorials I can check out, to make it easier? Where do I find a working image of Chrome?
