Has anyone noticed Chrome performance taking a dive since the ML Update?

At this point Safari is way faster in terms of scrolling and page loads. It is like night and day. Problem is that I love Chromes synching ability and do not like using Safari.

Any suggestions?

Did you install the latest retina ready version? Chrome has been as fast as usual in Mountain Lion for me. Also check your extensions, do you have too many installed?

I do not have the retina display. I am running a 2012 MBA.

I only have one extension installed and have tried removing chrome and installing from scratch.

Maybe Safari is just that much faster?

On my new MBA I have just switched over to Safari, scrolling is much better and it is simply quicker!! Cant argue with that!

I switched from Chrome back to Safari with v. 6.0 and have really seen a difference

Most extensions I use in Chrome are available in Safari as well

I don't think Chrome declined, I think Safari improved
