Chrome + Power adapter won't go to sleep

Hey all

have a 2014 rMBP that works fine. Except when put on external power and chrome is open, and the lid closed, it won't go to sleep.

It does go to sleep when the external power is off, though.

I think this is an issue with Sierra, because I used to do this under El Capitan and didn't have this issue.
