Chrome Search Insists To Start With Yahoo

How is it, although I keep setting the default search engine as Google, every time I quit and restart Chrome the damn thing changes this default on me!

I run Macbk Pro 10.9

Yahoo hacking Chrome

Surely there are other Chrome users who use Google as their default search engine! Do none of you have this Yahoo hack problem?

I have removed ALL my search engines in chrome and remain ONLY with Google as my default, yet every time I restart chrome, Yahoo search opens as the start page!

Just answered my own question; Noticed that my "start page" was yahoo's search page. Got rid of that and restarted Chrome with no Yahoo any more!

Though I'll never know what set up that start page in the 1st place.
