Chrome slow to close

I've noticed recently that when I quit Chrome that it takes a good 15-25 seconds before the process is terminated. Even though the window instantly goes away, if I check Activity Monitor I can see it's still open and says "Not responding".

This is with both the current and beta versions (11).
