I know there is a Resolved question like this on for older Mountain Lion version, but that proposed fixes for that haven't been of any use for me. I'm still on El Capitan (company policies) and find that every time I log in to my Mac after a restart Chrome is automatically restarted.
This is despite the fact that I shutdown Chrome prior to starting my Mac. I also make sure there are no Chrome processes running. I've checked all of the *Library/LaunchAgent/ and other startup directories listed everywhere else in regard to this issue. Nothing there.
Any new information on how to stop this annoying behavior from Chrome? Has Apple simply thrown in the towel and decided just to launch the only browser their users actually use?
