The 27" iMacs used to have a display port input and could be used as a monitor.

C Chrontius macrumors newbie May 30, 2013 10 0 Sep 1, 2014 #4 The Chromebase is advertised as having an HDMI input, and a button on the front to toggle between the HDMI port and ChromeOS. I'm probably buying one primarily as a monitor, so I'll post a firsthand report shortly.
