Chromecast Audio for an Apple user?

I've been curious about getting Chromecast audio... I live in an apartment and have a few airplay devices though... not sure if the Chromecast Audio is even necessary.

Does anyone use this device and how do you have it set up at your place? The only real use I can see for it is to cast my Google Music library.
