ChromeCast not working with iOS 16?

Ever since iOS 16 I can’t ChromeCast anything. Ive got multiple TVs that all support it yet I can’t get it to work. The weird thing is, I can reset and set up a new ChromeCast using the google home app, but just can’t cast anything to it. I’ve tried resetting TV’s. routers. Phones. iPads. Etc.

It has been working for me (using the Disney+ app). Do your apps have Local Network access in Settings? Local Network access is needed for chromecasting.

yes, absolutely.

After much frustration so much that i took to making a forum post, it turns out my Router needed a software update. this has fixed the problem.
