Chromecast rMB

Current 2010 MBA used for travel and on 2nd floor when not traveling has trouble with casting with chromecast (maybe will purchase Apple TV in June but separate topic).

Was waiting to replace with retina air which won't happen. Any thoughts on rMB handling chromecast better than a 2010 MBA?
