Does anyone have experience with this device? I set mine up, but see no "cast" button in YouTube or Netflix.

The only issue I can possibly see would be that it is connected to a secure wifi network for our apartment building residents.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Your WiFi network might isolate the network for each client so you would never be able to connect to the Chromecast.

That is what I have found as well from research. Just wondering if anyone had a work around. I think I will just grab an Apple TV as I wanted to use it for streaming Netflix and what not, but the Roku I had didn't work with YouTube either which was a bummer when I got it home.

Thanks guys!

Try to download the "Chromecast" app first then see if you can find and setup your Chromecast from there.

Mine worked fine after following the directions on their app.

I also have a chromecast and have no problem using it with netflix or Gmusic... Must be something with your network, if your network is setup to only accept mac address you've assign it should still work fine...
