Silly me, I made the mistake of thinking I could wait a month and pick one up at a retail store. Now, school is in three weeks, and you guessed it, that's how long they take to ship.

More importantly, though, why am I having so much trouble ordering online? First time I tried, it simply told me I needed to go to a retail store (even though no reservations were available). The second time, it told me I needed to pay a $500 deposit (what the hell?!). When I called, I said I was a new ATT customer (I have Verizon), and the lady on the other end of the line told me she would have to charge me full price because I'm a new customer (PLUS a $500 deposit?! For chrissakes I'm beginning to think it's not worth it!). So tell me, what's the deal?

I though I could sign up, pay $199 for the phone, $35 for activation, and $(too much) per month and be on my way. What's this about deposits and full price?

And if you could recommend how I can get my iPhone the fastest, tell me! Online? Priority List at the store?
