I'm a fan of smoking cigars and I think we need some kind of cigar app. I know i can go to some cigar website but most of them are a bit of a pain to navigate. it would be great to have reviews by either professionals or by regular guys like myself. Maybe have some nice quality pics too. I'm sure there's some cigar buffs out there that can put together a great app. I enjoy trying out new cigars all the time and hit up my local cigar shop every friday night. it would be great to pull up this app quickly and find some top rated cigars.
Any takers???

sounds like a horrible idea. but i suppose it would fit in with the rest of the large amounts of crap in the app store.

I think it is a great idea, it is a hell of a lot better than alot of the apps in the store already. A wine app with the same concept would be great as well.

that would be great. I would also like an app about cigarettes and plastic lighters.;)
But seriously, a cigar app sounds cool.

That's a great idea, I'd download it. I love smoking cigars! Anything to help in my cigar purchases would be awesome.

I've downloaded Beer Pad and Wine Pad which offer similar features as you want...albeit for beer and wine. It might be worth sending them a message to see if they'd consider one for cigars.

Nice idea!
Perhaps add a humidor inventory tool/app.
Cigarettes? nah pipe tobacco would be nice, be able to track your favorite blends.

I don't see it on the store yet.

This is definitely not what I had in mind. I was looking at this app http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=287329476&mt=8 which is quite well done for mixed drinks. I was hoping someone would do a nice cigar app similar to this cocktails app but with cigars, reviews, descriptions, top 20 cigars, pictures and so on. I know there's a lot of people that smoke cigars and I just thought this would be a nice addition.

Four Cigar apps - out now, one free

I saw in the itunes store four apps by FCR. One was free and had lists of top cigars from 2006-2008. The had top cigars of the year, top value cigars, and also a monthly list. The company was freecigarratings.

If you're looking for a way to find cigar bars and cigar friendly places, check out the Cigar Places iPhone App (app store link).

It's powered by the map at CigarPlaces.com, which is the most active and complete world-wide directory of cigar friendly places (currently over 3,600 places as of January 2012).
