Cilla Black had a hit single in the 60s with Anyone Who Had A Heart. Great song (Bacharach and David wrote it) that others sang too. Cilla was from Liverpool, a contemporary of The Beatles, and after a successful music career went on to become a 'national treasure' in the UK hosting various TV shows such as Blind Date and Surprise Surprise. Her peak time was in the 1960s though, for me. Hearing her belt out Anyone Who Had A Heart across the airwaves when I was a youngster was a real thrill.

I can't stand that ilk of british tv entertainment, but even i have fond memories of my mum forcing me to watch blind date on saturday night tele....
