Cinema 30inch Display issues with MBP

Hi guys

Ever since I updated my MBP 8,2 to Sierra 10.2.3 it has be playing up with my Cinema Screen.

So when it its plugged in it is fine the screen pops up but while I am working the charger stops charging and kicks me off the screen (as the MBP needs to be powered for the screen to work. I have tried cleaning the magsafe port on the MBP and changed then charger but still on luck.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

When I was on El Cap it worked fine...

If nothing else provides a solution, you could always "go back" to El Capitan for the time being.
